Mateo Zlatar is an artist and designer. He holds an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design, New York and an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile.

His career as Art Director started in advertising on agencies such as DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Young & Rubicam, where he got numerous awards at local and international festivals, including a Silver Medal at the Cannes International Festival.

After his graduate studies in New York, he has worked as a freelance designer and consultant for companies such as America Online, Deutsch Interactive, Imaginary Forces, New School University and James Sanders among others.

In 2005 he formed Sourcelab (http://sourcelab.us) with Juan Sanabria, a partner he met at Parsons. They both were interested in museums, the arts and education and the non-for-profit world.

His personal work as has been exhibited in galeries, museums and festivals in New York, Berlin, Buenos Aires and Santiago, among them the Chelsea Art Museum, Medianoche Gallery, Parsons School of Design, and Sala Fundación Telefónica Chile and Bienal de Nuevos Medios de Santiago de Chile.
